Course Overview Human Resource Management is rapidly evolving from intuition-based decision-making to a more strategic, data-driven discipline. Organizations today increasingly rely on workforce data to improve hiring decisions, strengthen employee engagement, reduce turnover, optimize performance, and align people strategies with business objectives. As technology advances and organizations generate more employee data than ever before, HR professionals must develop the skills to interpret data, measure key workforce trends, and communicate insights effectively. This two-session course, People Analytics (HR Analytics), introduces participants to the growing field of HR analytics and its practical application within modern organizations. The course provides a foundation in analytics concepts, data literacy, and evidence-based HR decision-making. Participants will explore how HR data can be transformed into meaningful insights that support smarter workforce planning and talent management. During the course, participants will learn about essential HR metrics that can be measured using analytics, including turnover rates, absenteeism, recruitment efficiency, time-to-hire, training effectiveness, employee productivity, engagement levels, and diversity indicators. Attention will also be given to how HR managers can present data clearly through visual dashboards, scorecards, and management reports that support decision-making at both operational and strategic levels.
